Gate Keeper Feedback System

The Gate Keeper helps set a visual and physical target for workouts and training. It’s a system that keeps count of how many turns you make and how long you are on the machine. It’s really much more than just that.

Each time you hit a flag while moving from side to side, an electronic sensor “counts” a turn and records it on a large digital display along with the elapsed time. A successful turn is where the user engages or hits the flag and causes the sensor system to register the turn. You can hear it, you can see it, and you can feel it! If you don’t make a succesful turn, the turn is not counted.

The Gate Keeper allows you to set a goal of travel for each turn on your Skier’s Edge machine. The flag distance at each end can be adjusted to count long (wide) turns or short (quick) easier turns. There are 12 different positions for shorter to longer turns offering a variety of goals and the motivation necessary for progression.

The Gate Keeper easily attaches to any Skier’s Edge System 4 machine.

What’s great about having a visual target is that it will help you to identify weakness from one side to the other - as most people have a slightly weaker side. The target flag will also help you to maintain maximum extension from beginning to end of your workout.

And here’s more fun: Challenge your friends to friendly competitive contests such as the “Most Completed Turns Per Minute” contest we host as the title sponsor of the Master’s races throughout the U.S.

The large, easy to read digital display records your elapsed time and number of turns (gates hit). The counter starts immediately with the first gate hit and can be paused during your workout with the press of a button. An automatic shut-off feature turns the unit off after five minutes of inactivity.
